
swedish meatballs
1 lb hamburger
4 slices of break crumbled fine
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 chopped onion
salt and pepper
2 cans of cream of celery
mix hamburger, break, baking powder, eggs, onion, salt and pepper together and form into balls. put into a casserole dish and cover with 2 cans of soup mixed with milk.
bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. serve over mashed potatoes.
(i cut the recipe in half for jeremy and i and we still had lefts overs)
buttermilk mashed potatoes
4 potatoes
salt and pepper
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons butter cut into small pieces
cook potatoes until they are very tender either in microwave or in large saucepan.
mash with potato masher, then add the buttermilk and butter. season with salt and pepper. mash until smooth and combined.
